Meet Louise
Louise previously ran a successful dog care franchise for nine years. Her job was matching dogs to the perfect carer for home boarding — a process built on thorough meet-and-greets, detailed understanding of each dog's needs and careful selection of carers who met strict criteria.
It worked. The business earned Franchise of the Year four times, built up tremendous goodwill among owners and saw many returning holidays for their beloved dogs. The numerous five-star reviews spoke for themselves.
With House & Hound Suffolk, Louise has launched her own independent service — bringing the same rigour and care, but this time the carer stays in the dog's home. It's a natural evolution: same trust, same standards, a more personal touch.
Our approach
Looking after dogs isn't complicated — they need routine, love, exercise, and consistency. That's exactly what we provide. Every carer is DBS checked and insured and we follow your instructions to the letter.

Founder
Louise has been around dogs since the pram. After nine years running a successful dog care franchise — winning Franchise of the Year four times — she launched House & Hound Suffolk to bring that same standard to a local, independent service. She handles the day-to-day running, client relationships and makes sure every carer meets her exacting standards.
Philip
Carer
Philip has been a lifelong dog owner and joined the team through his genuine passion for animal welfare. Calm, reliable and wonderfully patient — dogs take to him immediately. He specialises in house sitting and keeping to established routines.
Jeff
Carer & Walker
Jeff brings energy and enthusiasm to every walk. He knows the Suffolk bridleways and footpaths like the back of his hand and has a natural ability to manage groups of dogs safely and calmly. A firm favourite with the regulars.
